SPEAKING EVENTS

Gary has been a "go to" speaker in the South for many years. In addition to church and ministry settings, the venues have ranged from the boardroom to the classroom. Keynote addresses, student ministry events, singles conferences, marriage conferences, parenting conferences, and training events are some of the types of opportunities to which Gary has brought value. Corporate and civic audiences have included university staffs, parents of university students, members of law enforcement, sales teams, non-profit leaders, and government officials and employees.

He has hosted local, state, and federal governmental events, often moderating panel discussions about critical issues.

Whether speaking or facilitating, Gary does all of these things with a relaxed, engaging, and often downright funny demeanor.

He has trained thousands to live intentionally. He has a deep conviction that leaders should highly value those that they serve in order to result in a gracious effectiveness.

Gary led our parenting conference, and those who attended went away greatly encouraged, better equipped, and with a grander view of what it means to lovingly lead their families. We can’t wait to have him come back and share again.
— Dustin George, Senior Pastor, Easthaven Baptist Church, Brookhaven MS

Say Yes to a Lifetime of Love

Hundreds of times over the last 30 years, Gary has delivered what is commonly known as the relationship talk. With a deep, carefully considered conviction about the dating culture, this talk addresses the "why" and the "way" that people date. The talk ends with a strong challenge to avoid a dating system that is designed to fail and to guard one's heart in order to prepare for a lifetime of love.

"Every time you have to speak, you are auditioning for leadership."

"The art of communication is the language of leadership."

- James Humes

Gary's gift for leadership and communication was evident early in his life. Eagle scout at 14, drum major at 16. High school vice president and president of the student body. The college years and those immediately following brought additional opportunities to speak nearly a thousand times. With these experiences early in Gary's career, he has developed a passion for clear, warm, and inviting communication- whether in a small group setting or speaking to 10,000 or more. Every communicator can improve, and Gary wants to help facilitate improvement for leaders and team members in every discipline. Public officials, corporate presenters, sales teams, educators, and ministry leaders all need opportunities to improve their skills. Gary has invested significant time and money to develop coaching strategies that will benefit speakers.

It would be his delight to meet with your team- even if only for a brief time- to encourage, challenge, and present helpful tools to improve the art of communication.
